Dashboard tour
Here's a quick map of GitCharger so you know where everything lives.
Navigation
- Sidebar: the main menu, grouped into Home, Chargers, Access control, Tags, ID Tokens, Settings, and Operations.
- Top bar: the workspace picker, global search, notifications, a Promote menu (advertising and announcements), and your account menu.
- Workspace picker: switch between workspaces you belong to. All data on screen is scoped to the selected workspace.
Key areas
| Area | What it's for |

| Home | An at-a-glance overview of your network's health and activity. |
| Chargers | Add, monitor, publish, and control chargers; and manage Locations. |
| Access control | Members & roles, access windows, charger groups, and the audit log. |
| Tags / ID Tokens | Label chargers with tags, and manage RFID ID tokens. |
| Settings | Tariffs, charging profiles, API keys, and subscription. |
| Operations | Transactions, reservations, alerts, analytics, remote transactions, and firmware. |

The exact items you see depend on your role and plan. The Access control group is only visible to workspace admins and owners, and is hidden for personal workspaces.
Roles at a glance
What you can see and do depends on your role in the workspace (owner, admin, operator, technician, contractor, member). Some actions, like remote charger control or exporting reports, also depend on your plan. See Members & roles and Plans & billing.
