Access windows
An access window grants a user permission to charge for a defined period and scope. Use windows to give temporary or recurring access without opening a charger up to everyone: a visiting driver this week, a tenant for the length of a lease, or a contractor during a job.
Create an access window
- Go to Access control → Access windows.
- Choose New access window.
- Pick the user (by ID token or member) the window applies to.
- Pick the scope: a specific charger, a charger group, or a location.
- Set the start and end (and a recurrence, if the window repeats).
- Save. The window takes effect immediately for the chosen scope and time range.
How windows interact with access
Access windows work alongside a charger's default visibility and access:
- If a charger is restricted, a driver needs an active window (or an explicit grant) to charge.
- When a window's time range ends, access is withdrawn automatically; no cleanup needed.
