ID tokens (RFID)
An ID token is the credential a driver presents to start a session, most commonly an RFID card or fob (the OCPP idTag). GitCharger keeps a list of the tokens your workspace recognizes, under ID Tokens in the sidebar.
Add a token
- Go to ID Tokens and choose Add token.
- Enter the token's identifier (the value the charger reads) and a friendly label.
- Optionally associate it with a driver, vehicle, or group so sessions are attributable.
- Save. The charger network will now recognize the token when it's presented.
Import tokens in bulk
Rolling out a batch of cards? Use Import to add many tokens at once from a file instead of entering them one by one.
How tokens relate to access
A recognized token identifies who is charging; it doesn't by itself grant access to a restricted charger. Pair tokens with access windows and charger groups to control where and when a token may charge.
