Charger groups
A charger group is a named set of chargers you manage together for access. Instead of granting access to chargers one by one, you point an access window at a group, and every charger in it is covered.
note
Charger groups were previously called EVSE sets. You may still see that term in older screens or API fields.
Create and manage a group
- Go to Access control → Charger groups.
- Choose New group, give it a name, and add members (chargers / connectors).
- Add or remove chargers at any time: changes apply to every access window that targets the group.
When to use groups vs. tags
- Charger groups are about access: who is allowed to charge which chargers. They're the unit an access window grants against.
- Tags are about organization: filtering and finding chargers in the list. Tags don't grant access.
A charger can belong to multiple groups and carry multiple tags.
